Friends and neighbors,

 

After much prayer, reflection, and conversation with my family and community, I’m excited to officially announce my candidacy for Tacoma School Board, Position 1.

As a father of six, a pastor, and a community leader, I’ve seen firsthand how deeply our schools impact our families, our future, and our city. I believe every child deserves a safe, strong, and supportive learning environment—and every parent deserves a voice in how their children are educated.

 

My journey has been one of redemption. From overcoming addiction and homelessness to leading recovery ministries and mentoring youth, I’ve dedicated my life to serving others. Now, I’m ready to serve our city by restoring trust, raising standards, and building bridges between schools, families, and the community.
